Fanny Nater was born in Bogotá, Colombia, South America. She moved to New York City, NY at the age of four (4) with her mother, brother, and sister. In 1987, Fanny moved to Orlando, Florida and has lived in Florida since 1986. Fanny began her legal career by studying legal studies at Valencia Community College. Upon completing her studies at Valencia Community College in 1995, Fanny began working in the legal field after being offered a permanent position following a three (3)-month unpaid internship.

Fanny developed a deep passion for the law and began pursuing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Florida in liberal studies with concentrations in Political Science, English, and Literature. After graduating from the University of Central Florida, Fanny applied to and was accepted into law school, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in the evening program at the Florida A&M University College of Law. While pursuing her law degree, Fanny worked full-time and cared for her family, which includes a wonderful and loving husband and three amazing children.

Fanny has dedicated twenty-five (25) total years to the legal field, serving as a paralegal, case manager, office manager, and attorney. Over the past twenty-five (25) years, Fanny has gained extensive experience handling cases from initial intake through trial. She is a passionate advocate for her clients and strives for the best possible outcome while ensuring they are well-informed throughout their case. Ms. Nater understands how legal issues can impact the lives and health of her clients and their families. Her goal is to make the legal process as manageable and straightforward as possible. Most importantly, Fanny ensures that all possible avenues are explored to secure the best and most favorable outcomes for her clients.

An incredible humanitarian, Fanny has made significant contributions to the Hispanic community through the Nater Foundation. Through her foundation, she has helped families and children going through difficult times. The assistance Fanny has provided through the Nater Foundation has earned her notable recognition as a distinguished and entrepreneurial woman of Central Florida. Due to her outstanding professionalism and humanitarian work in the Hispanic community, Fanny received the Paoli Award in 2019.
