Mike grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, spending summers on the bayou before moving to the area full-time. A graduate of Bay High School (2006) and Spring Hill College (2011), Mike enlisted in the Air Force Reserve during college, deploying in support of operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. He continues to serve in the 403rd Wing, specializing in aircraft avionics for squadrons like the Hurricane Hunters.
After earning his law degree from Ole Miss, where he excelled academically and participated in law journal and trial advocacy, Mike joined Sheehan Law Firm. He became a partner in 2020, and the firm was renamed Sheehan and Ramsey. Mike focuses on bankruptcies and consumer litigation, serving on the Local Rules Advisory Committee for Mississippi’s bankruptcy courts. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and a graduate of Max Gardner’s “Bankruptcy Bootcamp” – a program conducted by the most renowned consumer bankruptcy lawyer that advocates for debtors’ rights in bankruptcy.

Pat is a knowledgeable lawyer with decades of experience in real estate, bankruptcy, business law, and numerous other fields of law. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. His current practice involves business bankruptcies, tax title confirmation, real estate transactions, real estate litigation, and much more. Pat is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and has also graduated from Max Gardner’s prestigious “Bankruptcy Bootcamp”.
Pat served in the United States Marine Corps as an A-6 pilot during the Vietnam War. Prior to the war, Pat attended the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. After the war, he attended Loyola Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana and upon graduation moved to Alaska to practice law. He eventually returned to Mississippi, working in the field of oil and gas law before ultimately settling in Ocean Springs. Having raised his two sons in Ocean Springs, Pat gives back to the Ocean Springs community and continues to support the Yacht Club.
