Edwin "Sandy" Hardy has practiced bankruptcy law in eastern North Carolina for 36 years. Born and raised in the region, he has successfully filed thousands of bankruptcies, helping individuals find relief from financial hardship. A former state legislator in the North Carolina House of Representatives, he served as Chairman of the Judiciary Committee and was a member of the North Carolina Courts Commission, the NC Governor's Crime Commission, and the Joint Legislative Commission on Seafood and Aquaculture.
Hardy also served for eight years on the Board of Trustees of Beaufort Regional Health Systems, including over three years as Chairman of the Board. As a federally designated Debt Relief Agent, he now helps clients navigate state and federal consumer protection and bankruptcy laws to obtain financial relief and protect their property.
